Since
its establishment the Institute has progressed to include many external

flexibility for all students. The Institute can confidently offer
qualifications equal to any in the world and ensures graduates a
sound position in private practice. Consequently the Australian
Institute of Applied Science has become one of Australia's premier
tertiary institutions offering higher education in Natural Medicine.
The
Australian Institute of Applied Sciences has recently amalgamated
with the National Institute of Health Sciences, Canberra (Australia's
capital city) ACT. The National Institute is the only accredited
Degree provider of Natural Medicine courses by distance education
in Australia, and indeed throughout the world.
Commitment
to Research
The Institute believes that the defining mark of a higher education
institution is that organisations' interest and commitment to support
research into the various fields of study offered by that Institution.
The National Institute has from its inception, included scientific
research in its courses.
The Bachelor program available through the National Institute of
Health Sciences requires students to complete four levels of research
methodology and then to compile a project and carry it through.
Recently, the Institute formed an alliance with Safe Analytical
Laboratories on the Gold Coast where students can further their
studies through research.
